Mission Objectives ? The Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) IT Technician Associates provide technical support for classroom, end-user, and AVCOE IT infrastructure devices. Working under the guidance of Intermediate Technicians, they ensure all technology in classrooms and office spaces is fully operational to support AVCOE's training and administrative environments. [Position Responsibility Summary
- Assist with classroom maintenance, sustainment, and technical support for both Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) and non-ECP classrooms under the direction of Intermediate Technicians.
- Respond to end-user and classroom IT help tickets, supporting troubleshooting for hardware and software issues according to established protocols.
- Assist with imaging of AVCOE-controlled devices, ensuring devices meet cybersecurity compliance and directory alignment.
- Support monthly and routine preventative maintenance activities, equipment cleaning, and basic operational checks for all assigned technology.
- Document service actions and results in the TRADOC ECP repository or other required reporting systems.
- Inventory and track IT assets, maintaining accurate asset records and assisting with equipment logistics/bench stock reporting to Logistics/Supply Clerk.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technicians; provide status updates to Intermediate Technicians and/or supervisors as needed.
- Assist in preparing classrooms for scheduled training/meetings, including basic setup of audio/visual technology.
- Provide courteous, customer-oriented service when interacting with faculty, staff, and students in AVCOE environments.
