The Online Training Specialist is responsible for developing engaging, standardized video training content for Wings Insurance using AI (Synethsia) and other digital tools. This role focuses on transforming Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into digestible, role-specific video modules to support onboarding, process training, and knowledge retention across departments.
This role will facilitate hands-on training sessions during onboarding week and orientation for new hires and provide cross-training for current employees, ensuring employees not only view and understand training materials but also actively apply their learning through guided practice and real-time support. This blend of digital learning and interactive instruction enhances employee readiness and promotes consistent application of company processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Virtual Training & Real-Time Support:
Provide hands-on and virtual training to new and current employees by clearly explaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring understanding through practical application and repetition.
- Collaborate with SMEs:
Partner with subject matter experts across departments to understand key workflows and extract relevant details for video training.
- Content Organization:
Tag, upload, and organize completed videos in the company’s LMS (Hangar) by department, topic, and role to ensure easy access for employees.
- Onboarding and Orientation Support:
Work with the Operations Manager to identify essential videos for new hire orientation and ensure timely updates when workflows change.
- Quality Assurance:
Review all content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Update or re-record content based on system changes or employee feedback.
- Platform Maintenance:
Assist with managing the Synthesia platform, including user accounts, template design, voice selection, and styling preferences.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Synthesia or similar AI video tools (e.g., Vyond, Loom, Camtasia)
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into step-by-step visuals
- Detail-oriented with an eye for consistency and upholding company standards
- Comfortable collaborating with team members across multiple departments
- Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Hangar) preferred
- Experience in Salesforce
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams as a training environment
- Aviation Insurance industry knowledge a plus
