Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal tasks, ensuring efficient case management and adherence to legal standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in drafting and legal research, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Duties
- Conduct thorough document review and analysis to support ongoing cases.
- Assist attorneys in drafting transactional legal documents.
- Utilize legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant case law and statutes.
- Manage case files using Clio software, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.
- Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with clients and court personnel.
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and filing documents with the court.
- Stay updated on developments in transactional law and other relevant areas of practice to provide informed support.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law office setting.
- Familiarity with Clio or similar practice management software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to transactional law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Pay: $42,429.00 - $45,000.00 per year
