Transfill Technician
This position is responsible for all production aspects of filling high pressure medical oxygen cylinders including prefill inspections, filling, and post filling processes in accordance with government and regulatory guidelines. Ensures proper and efficient storage and rotation of cylinders for required testing along with daily, biweekly, and annual inspections of Transfill system.
Job Duties:
- Performs prefill and fill process.
- Performs post-fill process with testing for leakage, purity, and odor.
- Store oxygen cylinders in appropriate section of department/warehouse.
- Responsible for monitoring expiration dates to assure supplies are returned or re-inventoried per company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate files of all work performed. Files contain such information as lot and batch numbers, cylinder maintenance and inspection logs, and materials required by the F.D.A
- Ensure all workstations are maintained in an efficient, clean, and safe manner.?
- Responsible for communicating actual and potential stock shortages or outages to leadership in a timely manner to assure adequate inventory level.
- Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy if applicable.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and tasks.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Construction, general manual labor, military and equipment repair, or maintenance skills would be considered related experience.
