Ward County Human Service Zone - Transport Specialist - Minot
Ward County Human Service Zone is seeking a Transport Specialist who is responsible for safely transporting identified clients for the Children and Family Services Division using a County owned vehicle.

Transport Specialist example of duties:
- Safely transport children and adults identified as clients of the Ward County Human Service Zone.
- Safely transport children to and from school, therapy appointments, medical appointments, to receive mandated services, other services, visitations and placements as requested by Family Service Staff by utilizing Zone vehicles. Remain with child as directed per each case.
- Utilize the statutorily required safety equipment (i.e. seat belts, car seats, booster seats) while transporting all clients, regardless of age and ability.
- Maintain an accurate transportation log.
- Transport and deliver belongings, personal effects, and other items as required.
- Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
This position requires daily travel to client homes and throughout Ward County.

This role requires understanding the sensitive nature of working with vulnerable children and families, maintaining strict confidentiality, following safety and legal protocols, and ensuring that transportation of clientele is conducted in a timely, trauma-informed, and respectful manner. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively and make sound decisions. A passion for helping others and making a meaningful impact in the community is essential.
To be considered for this role:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED and one (1) year of related work experience working with disadvantaged youth or families. Active CNA license preferred.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid proof of auto insurance.
