Description
We are looking for Travel Installation Professionals to perform a variety of Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) services for homes and businesses as required by the specific market and or job site where they are deployed. These services may include underground, overhead, or premise installations. Someone in this role must be able and willing to adapt to the market's needs, be self-motivated, and comfortable interacting with customers and technology on a daily basis.
This position would be reporting to the Murfreesboro, TN branch; yet will mostly work in the Camilla, GA & Central FL areas. Work locations are subject to change depending on the needs of the business.
Schedule:
- Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
- Working out-of-town for no longer than 30 days, then return home for no less than 7 days.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed in addition to regular travel.
Travel:

Requirements
- To get DOT certified, if not already.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s minimum safety standards.
- General knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods.
- Proficient in Internet-related applications such as email and web browsers.
- Aptitude to read and interpret fiber records, staking sheets, specification sheets and circuit diagrams and splice fiber as directed.
- Thorough understanding of hand tools and power tools.
- In-depth understanding of technology-based services, products, and networking.
- Able to meet physical requirements: climb ladders, work in confined spaces and/or various heights, lift and/or move up to 75 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, crawl and stand for long periods of time.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to work.
