MRI Technologist (Traveler)
Location: Athena Medtech

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 07:30–16:00 | 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality imaging.
Position Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for preparing and positioning patients, conducting MRI examinations, ensuring image quality, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters for accurate imaging.
- Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to MRI procedures.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and ensure proper documentation in PACS.
- Follow all radiation safety guidelines and departmental protocols.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images with accurate patient data and lead markers.
- Maintain MRI equipment functionality and promptly report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Support departmental operations by assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
- Traveler MRI Tech experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,433.20 - $2,437.20 per week
