Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Medical Talent, LLC. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout the labor process.
- Assist with delivery procedures, ensuring safety for both mother and infant.
- Educate patients on childbirth processes, pain management options, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to obstetrics.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
