Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Perform necessary procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, and dialysis as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy and suturing.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on quality outcomes.
