Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN for a travel assignment at Bakersfield, CA 93301. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an acute care setting with a dedicated team of pediatric healthcare professionals.
Job Title: RN – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93301
Assignment Duration: 20 Weeks
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | Every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements:
- Minimum Experience: 3 years total RN experience with at least 2 years in PICU
- Certifications Required: BLS, PALS
- License: CA RN License (required to submit)
Unit Information:
- Beds: 8 (Avg. census: 2)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Charting: Cerner
- Common Diagnoses: Respiratory failure, dehydration, seizures, suicide attempts, overdoses, poisoning
- Equipment: Medfusion pumps, Spacelab tele monitors
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $3,200.00 - $3,400.00 per week
