Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to visualize internal organs, tissues, and blood flow within the body.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound scans to create images for diagnostic purposes
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Analyze technical information to provide preliminary findings for physicians
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Experience
- Proficiency in radiology and medical terminology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization and cardiology procedures
- Knowledge of emergency medicine practices
- Skill in aseptic technique application
- Understanding of physiology and telemetry monitoring
- Experience in utilizing vital signs data for patient assessment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.52 - $74.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
