Travel Required: 80% (Nationwide)
We’re looking for a highly motivated Traveling Surveyor to join our team! In this role, you’ll travel extensively across different regions of the U.S. to perform site audits for residential solar installations. You'll collect key technical data and create rooftop layouts to support our design and permitting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to project sites to perform solar site audits
Capture structural, roof, and electrical data for permit-ready documents
Create detailed rooftop layouts with accurate measurements
Upload audit reports the same day (by midnight)
Build positive customer relationships and represent Freedom Forever professionally
Collaborate with design, sales, and installation teams
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required to operate a company vehicle)
Comfortable with 80% travel across the U.S.
1–3 years of construction, solar, or site audit experience preferred
Strong communication and tech skills for accurate documentation
Physical Demands:
Must be physically comfortable working on roofs and in small spaces such as attics
Ability to safely climb ladders and access a variety of roof types
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and work in various weather conditions
Comfortable using tools like tablets, measuring tapes, and site audit equipment
