Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. Your role will be essential in creating memorable experiences for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating POS systems, preferably Square POS or similar platforms.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.

Pay: $17.80 - $19.00 per hour
