About Us:
We are a growing after-school enrichment center committed to helping students succeed in academics and beyond. Our programs serve students from elementary to high school, with a focus on core academics, technology skills, and inclusive support for students with special needs.
We are currently hiring tutors for the following areas:
- Math (Grades K–12)
- English – Reading, Writing, Comprehension (Grades K–12)
- Scratch/Python Programming (Grades K and 8)
- Robotics – LEGO/FLL-based preferred (Grades 2–8)
- Support for students with special needs (experience with IEPs, learning challenges, etc.)
- Spanish – Conversational & Academic (Grades K–12)
- Other life skills to teach the kids in a safe environment like Stitching, Crochet, animation, 3-D printing, Arts/crafts etc.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passionate and patient educators who love working with kids
- Ability to engage students in small group and 1:1 settings
- Prior tutoring/teaching experience preferred
- Experience with special education or differentiated instruction is a plus
- Strong communication skills with both students and parents
- College students and High School seniors who have high GPA and strong academic skills can apply.
- Availability through the 2025–2026 school year (flexible scheduling options available)

In-person tutoring will take place at our center/at-home of the clients (within 10 miles of our center) and at partner school locations in San Diego (92126 area).
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized tutoring in Math, English, Python, Spanish and Robotics to students from elementary to high school.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education.
- Utilize learning technologies and tools to enhance student understanding and retention.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to ensure academic success.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
