National Security Ops was established in North MS in 2022. We have proudly served North MS and various regions in Tennessee. We are now hiring for an Unarmed Security Guard for an apartment building located in downtown Knoxville.
Requirements : Prior Law Enforcement experience, Military background OR a licensed Security Guard in the state of Tennessee. **Please do not apply if you do not have any prior experience**
National Security Ops is looking to hire Unarmed Security Officers to protect and monitor the safety of our expansive property. Applicants MUST have a background in security, law enforcement or military background.
As a NSO Security Officer, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our clients property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, be attentive and alert, record and report incidents, and participate in the clients emergency response procedures as appropriate and provide superior customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at 21 least years of age.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and to interact with customers, clients, and visitors of all categories.
- Must Maintain A VALID UNARMED GUARD SECURITY LICENSE, which is REQUIRED BY STATE you're applying for
- As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen.
- Basic computer skills to operate innovative technology.
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and effectively.
- Ability to de-escalate situations
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
