Seeking experienced unarmed security guard for overnights
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents as needed. Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role. Room for growth with APG. Military and retired LEO are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
- Check credentials and authorize entry to restricted areas.
- Respond to security incidents and report to appropriate authorities.
- Assist guests, employees, or clients with security concerns or emergencies.
- Maintain security logs and prepare incident reports.
- Work closely with law enforcement if necessary.
- Confidentiality is a must for this position.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Current Unarmed Security Guard card
- Reliable transportation and working cell phone.
Salary
$18 - $18 per hour
