USNIA INC Security Services is looking for Unarmed Security Officers to fulfill different assignments for our clients.
Summary
USNIA is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our high ethical standards and reputation for trust within the community.
Qualifications
- Must possess or obtain Security Guard Certification (Maryland).
- Possession of relevant certifications in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Previous security or Loss prevention experience preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with Maryland Police guidelines.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is beneficial but not required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
- Possession of relevant certifications in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Excellent communication and situational awareness.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention practices.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Monitor access points.
- Provide unarmed security services.
- Access control.
- Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in emergency or evacuation procedures if necessary.
- Support customer such as ushering, guest direction.
- Ensure professional appearance and courteous interaction with attendees.
Uniform & Equipment
- Should be able to purchase Class A Black uniform.
- Radios or communication equipment may be issued.
Work Conditions
- Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Both indoor and outdoor assignments.
- Must respond within 2-4 hours of notice (for emergency staffing).
Pay Rate
If the you have prior experience in security and valid security license we can offer up to $18per hour.
