Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents and investigations.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering first aid and CPR when required.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential disturbances or confrontations.
- Implement loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage to property.
- The role involves monitoring vehicle access and ensuring proper entry procedures, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
Skills
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
Requirements:
- Valid Florida Class D Security License (required)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong work ethic and weekend overnight availability
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Reliable, professional, and willing to work
Location: Plant City, Florida
Shifts Available:
- Fridays: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Saturdays: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Sundays: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Job Type: Part-time (weekend overnight shifts)
