The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking to hire an Underground Technician in the Oak Ridge, TN area.
For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).
Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
The primary responsibility as Underground Technician you will be assisting in the Foreman/crew with installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of underground electric distribution lines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL and medical card required
- 2 years of experience preferred
- 1-3 years of experience recommended
- Own your own hand tools
- Intermediate understanding of underground electrical distribution systems
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
