Job Overview:
Regency Excavation is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipe Layer to join our growing team specializing in excavation and underground utilities for residential and commercial projects. In this critical role, you'll install and align pipes for water, sewer, and drainage systems with precision and care, ensuring that every project meets high-quality standards. Responsibilities Include:
- Install, align, and secure pipes for water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
- Prepare and grade trenches either manually or with machinery.
- Ensure pipes are properly sealed, connected, and tested for leaks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with equipment operators and supervisors to meet project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- Follow all safety standards, regulations, and company protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Complete daily logs and inspection reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pipe laying for underground utility projects (residential and commercial).
- Strong understanding of pipe installation methods and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly safety-conscious.
- Physical ability to perform heavy labor in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Willingness to participate in continued training and certification programs.
