Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of up to 35 vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet will receive high-quality service and vehicles are in optimal condition. Our vehicles proudly serve older adults in three counties (Brunswick, Halifax, and Mecklenburg) and we strive to maintain vehicle safety and ADA compliance.
Duties
- Assist with routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment if needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards.
- Availability of a flexible schedule with emergency or urgent automotive issues.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
- Familiarity with small and large scale vehicle maintenance diagnostic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
