Position Title: Videographer
Reports To: Director Of Communications
Position Purpose: The primary focus of this role is to glorify God and engage people with compelling video and photographic storytelling that conveys the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Communications and Director of Worship and Production to plan and produce visual content for the church and its ministries.
- Write, direct, shoot, edit and produce videos on a regular basis.
- Photograph/film church events/activities in action and seek proactive opportunities to cover the life of the church.
- Provide production support for Sunday services, special events & projects as assigned.
- Recognize that video and photographic final products will be used across several platforms including but not limited to: Sunday service, website, social media platforms, email newsletters, ministry specific events, etc...
- Create compelling testimonies, ministry highlights, and announcements for worship services, web use, and social media.
- Provide video support for ministries and perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Competent in all stages of video production, including editing, lighting, and sound techniques and possess a working knowledge of equipment.
- Demonstrate proactive initiative in scripting, interviewing, and camera operation.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – especially Premiere Pro.
- Adept at visual storytelling with creative techniques for both photography/videography/editing.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required, with a portfolio of photo and video work (need to have been lead videographer on portfolio of work).
- Associates degree or BA in Videography/Photography/Digital Media or related field
- Commitment to the Core Values and the Statement of Faith of Grace Covenant Church.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at times.
- Climb ladders; work on/reach equipment at different height and levels.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
