We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Off Site Data Entry Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills and the ability to manage high volumes of information with accuracy and efficiency. This position is critical to the success of our organization, as it plays a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter patient information and medical records into our electronic database with a high level of accuracy
- Review and verify accuracy of data entered in the system
- Ensure all data is entered in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Follow data validation procedures and maintain data integrity
- Communicate with off-site team members to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate
- Identify and report any data discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members
- Perform routine data backups and updates as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive information
- Collaborate with other team members to implement process improvements and enhance data entry procedures
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
