Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
