Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Russo New York Pizzeria located in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences while contributing to our mission of providing high-quality Italian cuisine with outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests.
- Provide recommendations for menu items and upsell when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in a server role or similar position in the food service industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems toast is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
