Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each patron has an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to connect with guests and deliver top-notch hospitality will be key to our success.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling processes including processing payments through cash register systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces as needed.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise during service.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by being attentive to guests' needs throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn!
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in food service environments is essential.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience working in a nightclub or similar fast-paced environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services; ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.73 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
