Job Overview:
We are seeking two passionate Specials Teachers with Waldorf training or interest to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, arts, education and be dedicated to fostering a love for creativity in students. The Specials Teacher is responsible for the academic growth of small groups of students (Grades/Ages K-6th. This role involves meeting with students in small groups setting to provide targeted instruction that is creative, interesting, and hands on.

Responsibilities:
- Develop/Present and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards
- Maintain and report student records
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their assignments and assessments
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school and enrichment program
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Masters Degree (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Waldorf pedagogy
- Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility
- Experience teaching Math at the elementary level
- Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans and student assessments effectively
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and preparation
Job Requirements:
- College credit hours in the field of Education and/OR a valid teaching certificate.
- Experience working with children,
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Successful results of criminal and employment background checks.

- Establish excellent interpersonal skills with all constituents.
- Proficient in computer basics (Windows, Word, Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, SIS).
- Knowledge of company and school policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with the Florida BEST standards.
- Understanding of Federal, State, and local requirements for K-12 schools and charter school law preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
