Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and order picking. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, contributing to our mission of delivering quality products to our customers.Responsibilities
- Perform various warehouse duties to receive and verify incoming materials, maintain stock areas, pick customer orders and branch transfers
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of the warehouse layout.
- Ensure the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents and maintain all records relative to shipping/receiving activities
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders on RF device
- Includes receiving and closing of purchase orders in BHQ ERP system and printing pick tickets as necessary
- Pick orders/transfers to be shipped, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before shipping
- Use forklift, hand and mobile lift equipment, hand and power tools, weighing scales
- Adhere to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
- Familiarity with an inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks as needed

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
