What you will do:
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Signs for items that are received.
- Audit and package outgoing orders for small package carriers and LTL carriers.
- Uses Microsoft Office programs to complete daily tasks.
- Labels and/or packages products so that it is ready to go into inventory or out on a shipment.
- Back-up to the Team Lead.
- Closes orders out through digital shipper software.
- Prints out address labels, bill of lading and packing slips for all shipments
- Responding to incoming salesforce and emails.
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ months of related warehouse or distribution experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to learn how to operate power equipment
- Ability to read and understand written English
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related warehouse or distribution experience
- Experience operating pallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, reach and turret trucks
- Experiance operating forklift and/or pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $16.00 - $20.00 in Ohio. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
