Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves overseeing various warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and possess the necessary skills to manage daily tasks effectively while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.
- Manage inventory levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock movements accurately.
- Oversee order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping orders efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking to ensure accuracy in shipments.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely to load and unload products as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with e-commerce order processing, ensuring that packaging meets company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and report discrepancies.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and stocking.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and best practices.
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar software such as AS400 for inventory management.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate order processing and inventory tracking.
- Previous experience with MRP systems is a plus but not required.
