As the Warehouse Intern, you will learn to accurately receive inbound material into inventory and pulling and preparing raw material for production.
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Receive inbound material and non-inventory purchase orders, verify contents, and compare with records such as manifests, packing slips, or invoices to verify accuracy of incoming shipments
- Record the receipt of material into company ERP system
- Transfer material to incoming quality inspection and/or stock in appropriate warehouse
- Organize and maintain stock shelves and warehouse in a clean, orderly fashion
- Pick inventory and prepare as required for production
- Perform daily cycle counts and/or other inventory counts as required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
- Perform all duties to comply with Sartorius and ISO procedures
- Participate in department, site, and company-wide initiatives
What will convince us:
Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
Other Skills:
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 50
- Computer and data entry skills required; SAP experience preferred
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-tasking environment
- Experience using pallet jack preferred
- Strong attention to detail in a warehouse environment
- Takes ownership and accepts accountability for work completion and quality
