Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple categories.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and data collection.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage stock levels and ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist in financial analysis related to inventory costs and pricing strategies.
- Support sourcing initiatives by analyzing market trends and supplier performance.
- Provide insights on category management to enhance product availability and sales performance.
- Work closely with logistics teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus.
- Strong skills in category management and supplier management.
- Proficiency in financial analysis related to inventory control.
- Experience with sourcing practices and vendor negotiations.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential.
- Ability to analyze data using tools such as Nielsen for market insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
