Our business, and therefore our clients and our team members, succeeds when our inventory is moved through the contract lifecycle and maintained in a high quality, ready to rent status. The Warehouse Manager is an integral part of this process, overseeing a team that counts, cleans, repairs, puts away and preps inventory for orders using established systems and working to develop new ones as well.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Recruit, hire, schedule, train, and mentor warehouse personnel across all levels.
    • Assess & prioritize all tasks within the department
    • Schedule and clearly delegate the workload for given period of time including the specific goals and requirements
    • Foster a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and pride in maintaining high standards.
    • Create and manage team schedules to meet operational demands while controlling labor costs.
    • Provide regular performance feedback and support personnel development to improve their individual capacity and function. Ensure team members see the value in their development in how it will help them grow and benefit them in their personal advancement, their team in the work becoming easier, and the company in efficiency, professionalism and profitability.
    • Be proactive in the growth of all team members, including self, through intentional mentoring, continuing education, trainings, reading, networking and other means.
  • Inventory Management & Fulfillment
    • Oversee the cleaning, inspection, and proper storage of all warehouse inventory.
    • Ensure equipment is staged correctly and ready for outbound delivery or customer pickup (will call).
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment movement in and out of the warehouse using inventory systems.
    • Monitor inventory levels and alert appropriate departments of shortages or maintenance issues.
    • Utilize software and work with other leaders to forecast, plan, and implement scheduling of all resources on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.
    • Develop and maintain an annual calendar of maintenance
    • Conduct routine and spot inventory audits, record the results, communicate abnormalities to the General Manager
    • Develop, implement and maintain systems to ensure product readiness and asset preservation
    • Continually review production changes and staffing levels as well as potential efficiency gains. If we are exceeding capacity use the appropriate adjustments (cross department labor share, temp staffing, hiring) to meet the demand and maximize profitability.
  • Safety, Organization & Equipment Maintenance
    • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all staff are trained and compliant with safety protocols and company policies.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, presentable, and organized warehouse environment always.
    • Ensure staff are trained in proper lifting techniques, equipment use (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), and warehouse safety protocols.
    • Oversee regular maintenance of warehouse, tools, racks, and systems to ensure smooth operation.
    • Obtain and execute quotes and orders from vendors to maintain inventories and supplies
    • Maintain supply levels for all recurring use items
  • Budgeting, Reporting & Department Performance
    • Manage the department’s budget for staffing, inventory maintenance, training, and supplies.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including fulfillment counts, incident reports, and labor efficiency among others.
    • Analyze trends and adjust staffing, or procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
    • Regularly report to leadership on departmental performance and progress toward goals.
    • Make well thought out suggestions to improvements to facilities and processes and execute if approved and within the budget.
  • Customer Service & Will Call Support
    • Ensure will call orders are loaded/unloaded accurately and efficiently while delivering a positive customer experience.
    • Coordinate with the Sales team to handle any changes or issues with customer pickups or returns.
    • Set and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for preparedness, warehouse conduct, inventory handling, and customer service.
  • Cross-Department Coordination
    • Work closely with the Delivery Department to prepare and return equipment according to schedule.
    • Supervise and assist in the loading and unloading of company delivery vehicles at times.
    • Partner with the Kitchen & Linen team to manage shared space, return flow, and turnaround timelines.
    • Collaborate with Sales to verify availability and readiness of items before confirming with clients.
    • Seek ways to continually optimize all logistics and processes across the company to increase capacity and efficiency.
    • Represent the department at company meetings, coordinate coverage in the case of an absence.


Working Conditions:

  • Must stand and be on your feet for long periods of time, likely the entire day
  • Most work is indoor in general warehouse conditions in which there is minimal heat and air conditioning
  • Some work will occur in the yard around our warehouse in all weather conditions
  • Occasionally, less than 10% of the time, work will occur off site, usually in an outdoor setting
  • Constant bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking
  • Continual communication with co-workers and customers

Requirements:



  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED

  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus

  • Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
  • Must maintain a fluid mindset to succeed in our ever changing and fast paced environment

  • Must maintain a professional personal appearance

  • Must possess customer relation skills

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license

  • Must be able to use math to solve problems

  • Computer knowledge is preferred. Training on rental software will be provided.

  • Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus.

  • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.

  • Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.

  • Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.

  • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.

  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
