Eastside Machine Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods into our facility. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments; maintaining a clean and organized receiving area; and supporting inventory control.

Eastside Machine Company is a locally owned manufacturing company based in Fargo, North Dakota, offering roll-forming machines for seamless steel siding, roofing, and gutters, as well as custom machines. We operate a machining shop with a variety of expert services for hire and are also vertically integrated as the supplier of the steel coil used by our machines through our partner, EMCO Building Products.

Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packing, labeling, and loading
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipment quantities and product descriptions; report discrepancies
- Ensure a positive customer experience by providing courteous and efficient service for walk-in customers with product inquiries, order pickups, and returns
- Safely operate, inspect, and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to be compliant with safety regulations and warehouse procedures
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or customer service preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (over 50 pounds)
- Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
