Responsibilities
- Perform order picking and packing of products accurately and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes safely and effectively.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Follow all safety protocols while handling materials and operating machinery.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Experience with order picking processes in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
- Familiarity with operating cranes and other warehouse machinery is a plus.
- Previous experience working under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to build pallets or stacks of products for storage or shipping purposes.
