Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are packed efficiently and accurately, maintaining quality standards throughout the packing process. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with both hand tools and power tools, contributing to the overall success of our assembly line operations.
Responsibilities
- Pack finished products into designated containers while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Operate hand tools and power tools as needed for packing tasks.
- Assemble packaging materials and prepare items for shipment.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of packed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking packed items and reporting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes is an advantage.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to use forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift and move packages as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
