Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, materials handling, and order fulfillment. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Running forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
- Manage inventory by conducting regular counts and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Assist in picking and packing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Some driving for picking up inventory, preferably experience driving box trucks or truck and trailer.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to handle packages of varying weights and sizes safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Driver's License
