Custom Home Furnishings LLC is the premier upscale furniture retailer in Southeast North Carolina. We have several locations around the Wilmington and Leland areas and are continuing to see growth as the demand for high quality home furnishings rises. As our operations continue to expand, so does the need to increase our warehousing teams and create new staffing roles. Day to day duties can include and are not limited too:
- Delivering and installing merchandise into customers homes.
- Receiving and unloading freight from tractor trailers.
- Safely putting away and storing items in our rack system.
- Operate picker between racking system to retrieve or storing inventory.
- Scanning inventory and tagging merchandise.
- Transferring inventory between stores.
- Opening and inspecting orders prior to delivery, customer pick ups, or transfers to other locations.
- Loading our delivery trucks as we prepare them for our white glove delivery teams.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space!
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 150+ lbs. Most items are easily managed by two people but we do have items that are extremely heavy.
- Having exceptional organization and communication skills.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to crouch, kneel, and walk backwards regularly.
- A driver's license and clean driving record is required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.46 - $19.23 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
