Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, particularly in fire restoration and mold remediation. This role involves restoring properties affected by water damage and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Water Technician, you will be responsible for using hand tools and power tools effectively to clean, restore, and build as needed.
Duties
- Assess water damage in residential and commercial properties and develop restoration plans.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various restoration tasks including cleaning, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement.
- Perform carpet cleaning and other related services to restore properties to pre-damage conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during restoration processes.
- Document work performed on each project for quality assurance purposes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred, particularly in fire restoration or mold remediation.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in restoration work.
- Ability to clean effectively and restore properties with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
