New England Sports Photo (NESP) is a family-owned, locally operated leader in youth sports photography with over 50 years of experience. We work with community leagues across New England to make Picture Day easy, organized, and fun — capturing portraits and team photos for kids and families to treasure for years.
We’re not just looking for photographers — we’re looking for smart, personable, reliable team members who are eager to learn. If you enjoy working with children, can follow a clear process, and thrive in a fast-paced, event-based setting, this could be the perfect seasonal role for you. No personal camera gear or prior photography experience is required — we provide all training and equipment.
This position requires availability for early mornings on weekends. We have some weeknight (after school) availability as well. You’ll be part of a small, friendly crew that travels to youth sports leagues throughout New England to set up, photograph, and pack up Picture Day events.ts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Photographing kids and teams for portraits and group photos using NESP equipment
- Setting up lighting, cameras, and gear efficiently and safely
- Representing NESP professionally on-site with a friendly, approachable manner
- Assisting with the setup and teardown of equipment
- Following NESP’s Picture Day process to keep events running smoothly

- Comfortable interacting with kids, parents, and league staff
- Reliable transportation to travel to different sports venues
- Ability to work early mornings on weekends. (Weeknight availability also possible)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must pass a background check
(Experience in photography is helpful but not required — we will train you.)
