Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and be proficient in working with different materials, including sheet metal and pipes. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Perform welding tasks using various methods, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
- Build and assemble metal components for cranes and other machinery.
- Conduct pipe threading operations as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal and pipe fabrication.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
- Strong understanding of basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience operating cranes is a plus but not mandatory.
