Welding Fabrication Associate - 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Supply and operate welding systems, plasma cutters and make adjustments as needed
• Lay out, position, and tack-weld parts to secure for welding
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Meet established production standards
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kanban cards and other media as required
• Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards
• Exercise and promote safe working habits
• Comply with Quality Management System
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain regular attendance

Key Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED
• Read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerance.
• Must pass Hendrickson weld test -2G or be a certified welder
• Be able to physically lift 65 lbs
• Ability to safely operate lift equipment, including forklift
• Must be able to read and write legibly.
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
• Good attendance record is required
• Requires strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
