Winfield Security has successfully provided security services for over 45 years and is now a part of the Tarian Group of Security Companies. We are based in Midtown Manhattan and we provide unarmed Security Guard Services to a large variety of clients throughout New York City. We Have Multiple Shifts Available in the Brewster, New York Area! Paid training is provided for this role!
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess and perform the following;
- Valid and Current New York State Security Guard License
- Exceptional work ethic
- A commitment to taking care of fellow officers, our clients, and their property
- Adhere to all Company service and operating standards
- Immediately respond to emergencies & provide necessary assistance
- Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
- Develop thorough knowledge of both the property and its personnel.
- Oversee and enforce access control protocols to ensure security standards are met.
- Perform regular vertical and perimeter foot patrols to detect and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Demonstrate the ability to remain standing or seated for extended periods as required by duty.
- Exhibit strong professional conduct and interpersonal communication skills.
- Identify and assess potential security risks within the property to mitigate any threats.
- Respond professionally to inquiries, whether in person, over the phone, or via security radios.
- Operate and manage scanning equipment for security purposes effectively.
Certifications required for this role:
- None
A candidate is recommended to have the following:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Previous security experience
- Previous customer service experience
- CPR Certification
- OSHA-10/30
