Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and repair of various equipment and appliances in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install and assemble equipment and appliances according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed products to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the installation process.
- Perform equipment repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately install systems and components.
- Operate delivery vehicles to transport equipment to job sites, ensuring timely arrival and setup.
- Collaborate with field service teams to coordinate installations and resolve any issues that may arise on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in installation or related fields such as HVAC or appliance repair is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Prior experience as a service technician or in field service roles is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the industry.
