Job Summary: Will wind quality packages of yarn for Weave Room. Maintain efficiency as determined by Department/Plant Managers.
Tools and Equipment used: Utility knife, scissors, knotter, and apron.
Essential Functions: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:
Maintain personal work habits, which meet the demands and stresses of the job.
Wind yarn onto cones for Weave Room.
Report spindles making bad yarn to the fixer.
Report bad yarn to the department supervisor/manager.
Pack yarn in yarn bins at winder.
Put color identification stickers in cones of yarn.
Make the required quality checks.
Keep winder area housekeeping in good order.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
