Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to install various types of windows efficiently and accurately. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards, ensuring that all installations meet industry regulations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install windows in residential and commercial properties according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for window installation tasks.
- Perform caulking around window frames to ensure proper sealing and insulation.
- Conduct frame carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, and assembling window frames as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand installation requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist in the installation of fixtures related to windows, such as trim carpentry and cabinet installations when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for window installation tasks.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus.
- Strong skills in frame carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture installation are highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential for this role.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is required for successful performance in this position.
