Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and scope of practice.
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
- Accurately document all patient care activities.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Support patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort needs.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated care, including patient transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Assess learning needs of patients and families, providing education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
- Serve as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements
- Current RN license in New Mexico or compact state.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certifications (required within specified timeframes):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring and STABLE – within 1 year of hire or transfer
- Ability to obtain and maintain all certifications as outlined for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior acute care or hospital-based nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments.
