We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to excellence in kitchen operations. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative menu planning, effective shift management, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership skills will be essential in supervising kitchen staff and ensuring smooth operations.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of necessary ingredients.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the culinary industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in menu planning and shift management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in inventory control processes and kitchen management systems.
- A passion for cooking with an emphasis on creativity and innovation in the kitchen.
