We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Encourage positive social interactions among children and guide them in resolving conflicts.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities.
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus but can be obtained after hiring.
