Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays for Orthopedic Practice
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Review images to ensure they meet diagnostic requirements and communicate any abnormalities to the appropriate medical professionals
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Minimum of [1] year of experience as an X-ray Technician or similar role (orthopedic experience)
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations using various medical imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with aseptic technique to prevent infection transmission
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and medical professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues or image quality concerns
